The Data Protection Scanner acts as your digital shield, ensuring that any sensitive PII data passed through the AI Chatbot remains protected. By monitoring and analyzing user inputs and outputs, it safeguards against data leaks and unauthorized access, preserving the confidentiality and integrity of your information.

How it works

The Data Protection Scanner operates by analyzing both input and output data within an AI chatbot to ensure the security of sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII). When sensitive PII data is passed into the chatbot, the scanner:

  1. Monitors Input: It scans incoming data for any sensitive information, detecting and mitigating potential risks before the data is processed further.

  2. Analyzes Output: It examines responses generated by the chatbot to ensure that no sensitive data is inadvertently exposed or leaked.

By providing real-time detection and protection, the Data Protection Scanner secures both the input and output data, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information throughout its interaction with the AI system.

Data Protection Policy for AI Chatbot Applications

Create a new policy as same as shown in , for Data Protection detection select scanner Data Protection.

Optionally, perform a test to ensure the policy is functioning as intended. Check that sensitive data is detected and blocked as specified.

Anonymize in Data Protection:

Simply go to 'Customize Detectors,' select the desired application, choose the 'Data Protection' detector, select 'Anonymize,' and save your changes. Now, any sensitive data passed through the chatbot will automatically be anonymized, ensuring enhanced data privacy.
