Custom Rules

Custom Rules are created by users to group and organize data identifiers according to their specific requirements. Users can define the criteria and parameters for grouping data identifiers to align with organizational policies and objectives.

Create new Rule by clicking on "Add Rule".

Fill in the necessary details, Rule Name, Description.

Select User Defined Identifiers by choose Operator (if single identifier select operator - AND).

  1. To test using both regex and keyword, select the identifier.

User can click on Show XML to view and edit the XML.

Click Submit to "CREATE RULE".

Navigate to Policies section click on Rule to see the User defined Rule.

  1. To test using regex and keyword only, select the identifier.

Select User Defined Identifiers by choose Operator (if More than one identifier select operator - OR).

fill the necessary details, Rule Name, Description and select identifier.

click Submit to "CREATE RULE".

click on Show XML to view and edit the XML.

If we want to test all identifiers, we can configure the rule accordingly to include them.

Note: Once the rule is created, you also need to create a Profile and assign the rule to it for proper application.

Custom Rule: Customizable and can be edited or removed.
