Jira Notification Configuration
Project Key: Enter the key of the project where the issue should be created.
API Token: Provide the API token to authenticate the integration.
Reporter: Specify the user who will be reported as the issue creator.
Assignee: Indicate the user to whom the issue will be assigned.
Project Key : This is the key of the Project where you want to create the Jira tickets in, you can find the Key by going to your Jira Projects as below
API Token : This is the API token that must be generated by the Jira user which Swift Security will use to login within the Jira account. Below are the steps of how this token can be generated:
a. Click on the Settings -> Atlassian account settings
b. Click on Security -> Create and manage API tokens
c. Click on Create API token, later add the name for token and Save.
Reporter : Here provide the email id with which we want the ticket to be created
Assignee: Provide the email Id of the user to whom the ticket ahs to be assigned to
Test the Connection:
Once all necessary details are entered, locate and click the "Test Connection" button.
Verify that the connection is successful by checking for a confirmation message.
If you do not need notifications in Jira, you can delete the existing integration.
To delete Jira notification integration:
select Jira.
Locate the Jira integration click three vertical dots.
Select the option to delete the integration.
