Rule consist of list of Data Identifier(s). As data identifiers are Pre Defined and User defined, rules are also Pre Defined and User Defined . Pre defined rules consist of pre defined data identifiers and User defined rules consist of User Defined Data Identifiers.
User defined Rule
User-defined rules are created by users to group and organize data identifiers according to their specific requirements. Users can define the criteria and parameters for grouping data identifiers to align with organizational policies and objectives.
Create new Rule by clicking on "Add Rule", fill in the necessary details, Rule Name, Description
Select User Defined Identifiers by choose Operator (AND, OR, NOT).
click Submit to "CREATE RULE".
Navigate to Policies section click on Rule to see the User defined Rule.
Pre defined Rule:
Pre defined rules come pre-configured with predefined criteria for organizing data identifiers based on common use cases or regulatory requirements. These rules offer convenience and efficiency by providing predefined groupings of data identifiers without the need for extensive customization.
User-Defined Rule: Customizable and can be edited or removed.
Pre-Defined Rule: System-managed and cannot be edited or deleted.
